President's Choice Black Label Coconut Lime Sparkling Beverage

For the record, I usually LOVE President’s Choice Black Label products and think the product line is genius. I am always excited to see what they have come up with next. In this spring’s PC Insiders Collection I discovered their Coconut Lime Sparkling Beverage.

President's Choice Black Label Coconut Lime Sparkling Beverage

Made with water from the French Vosges sandstone, this sparkling refresher includes a lively kick of ginger and the subtle taste of sweet coconut and tart lime. Serve over ice or stir into cocktails. Imported from France.

Just a warning… When you open this bottle it actually POPS! And there is a very good chance it will start spewing out of the bottle. At least that is what happened to me.

Ingredients: carbonated water, sugar, citric acid, natural flavours (contains gum arabic).

This drink is incredibly effervescent! You can definitely taste the coconut and lime and it overall has that high quality flavour and flare that I expect with a Black Label product. Oddly, Reg found it too sweet but I found it quite light.

If you love the combination of coconut and lime, you will enjoy this product. We thought it was OK but would be more fantastic if you added some rum to it. It would be the perfect mixer. I bet gin would also turn this into a stunning cocktail.

On its own though, neither of us really loved it. It was interesting and a great beginning but with alcohol it would really live up to its potential. Too bad we do not really drink!

By itself I give this product three out of five wooden spoons. Add alcohol? I bet it would be a five!

Oh my gosh, I love that second to last shot. Brilliant. And those glasses/mugs. I love those, too. I’ve got a thing for glass, mugs and cups (oh my).

    Happy Weekend.

Thank you! I worked really hard on those photos. Been really dark and rainy here so I am so glad the photo came out so sparkly.
