All of the President’s Choice product reviews have been fun but I need a bit of a break and so it is time to play with food!
My favourite popsicles growing up were banana and rootbeer. Both flavours seem to have disappeared so I decided to come up with my own version of rootbeer popsicles and even update it a little. After polishing off my homemade fudgsicles I got out my Cuisipro’s Snap-fit Circle Pop Mold, some semi-flat rootbeer and a can of sweetened condensed milk.
Making The Popsicles
This is how easy they are to make. Whisk together 1 cup of flat rootbeer (you don’t want them exploding in the freezer) with 2 tbsp of condensed milk.
Ladle into popsicle molds.
Snap close and freeze. This “recipe” made five two-ounce popsicles. That’s it!!! So simple.

I had to put the fudgsicles under hot water to release but not these ones!
WOW! This totally tasted like a rootbeer float and was quite delicious and super retro to enjoy. So easy it is pretty silly.
I love making my own popsicles. You just can not beat homemade frozen treats in the summer!

Right??? And this one is much less indulgent!!! Although rootbeer popsicles were it for me. They totally rocked.

Reminds me of going to the old A&W’s where you ordered from the car…those root beers were amazing. The only root beer flavours I remember in sweets were the little sugar candies like the coke bottles and garbage cans lol…but I do remember banana Popsicle and I just loved them! You’re right that it’s so easy to make but we never think of doing it! Great post! 🙂

Yes, I remember when you could do that at A&W too! Oh wow, I remember those candies, LOL. Thank you Rain!
