She sure is!!! One smart cat indeed. I am seriously considering getting a box of fresh veggies like that too. That’s great they bring it to your door!

It was a big plus, I didn’t have to go up the stairs five times like usual, what a relief! That’s good news about the toilet paper in particular and so glad people are not hoarding as much! Maybe life can get back to a kind of normal again when it comes to food and supply availability.

Thank you so much Heidi! The cart really did help in so many ways. I am so grateful. Yes, that is true, each store does have different rules! I have had a great deal of anxiety going into the stores and trying not to forget what it is I am looking for. Costco is a life saver! I am so glad you have that and a car to stock up, that would make all the difference. Oh yes!!! Backyard cooking, sweet!!!

It is a bit nerve wracking Dora which is why I think being very specific helps!

I bet it could be nerve racking. I done it on my job and when you have someone new and not sure of anything

That cart sounds super useful. I’m so glad you gave it a try.It sounds like you found many silver linings in your days. Shopping was never something I minded and even enjoyed at times but that’s hard these days. Stores often have different rules and ways of doing things, waiting in lines, trying to touch as little as possible, and trying to find everything on your list can all be frustrating and lead to a general sense of unease. We are fortunate to have a car to transport things though and we just made it back from Costco a few hours ago so we are also well stocked for a few weeks to come. We just got a new charcoal grill for the back yard and loved our first time trying it so more foodie adventures await.

Especially hauling groceries up those stairs — that’s a big plus! Getting certain ingredients or items have been a challenge here, but sometimes if the store doesn’t have something one week, they’ll have it the next. Or I make a substitution if that’s possible. I noticed this week that FINALLY people seemed to have stopped hoarding toilet paper and the shelves are full again.

I do click and collect and pray that half will show up . I pay $$$$ for a CSA box of organic veg but they guarantee their stock is fresh and in supply…and they bring it to my door.
