Oh thank you!!! I am so glad you liked it and I am craving pizza now too, LOL. Yes, once you get away from the urban life you have to depend on yourself for your takeout favourites and I am so glad I finally came up with a serious contender. Oh wow, those all sound so good! Yes, I have tried to make my own takeout Chinese food too but it is never as good. I never know what to do with the leftover oil so I don’t deep fry either. I agree, A&W rings are fantastic! I also like, believe it or not, Burger King. My mom got me hooked on those as a kid.

I’m so craving pizza now. I have to find some cast iron pans and soon! Since we’re so rural, we don’t get takeout anymore. I have a good pizza recipe thankfully…I also can make a killer fish and chips…our burger recipes are good too. We do miss Chinese takeout though. I make that once in a while but it doesn’t taste the same! Another thing I haven’t perfected yet is the onion ring. We don’t deep fry here because we can’t stand the smell of the oil, but one of these days I may succumb to buying a deep fryer if we can leave it on the porch after we use it! A&W has the best onion rings in my opinion and one day I want to figure out their recipe!

My cast iron pan is 9″ wide at the top, 7″ at the base. I think this is more than enough dough because I split mine in half. I did not roll it out, just formed it a little with my fingers before adding it to the hot pan but you can if you want!

Oh yes! Sushi for me, since that is something I haven’t made on my own. That’s true! Eating everything yourself is a tough one. I am going to bake a bread today and then share with my roommates. If I have the energy.

Do I roll it out flat? That wasnt mentioned. . .

I haven’t really been missing any takeout — well, except for maybe some good Asian food. That’s the one thing I can’t reproduce at home. Oh, and sinfully decadent desserts, but I shouldn’t be eating them anyway. And I can’t make those at home because I would eat the whole thing and even I recognize that would be a BAD IDEA.
