Good gawd I can't imagine what winters on PEI must have been like. The wind there is unreal! Even in the fall, when I was visiting. Yay!!! So glad you are following that voice and message, the transformation is happening, I believe it. I hope it does too and yes, funny that I don't have a kitchen here in Kitchener but maybe one day I will.

I’ve been a little mia on social media lately with everything going on but after listing to your podcast I wanted to come comment in support. What a journey you have been on. I came out of the podcast with such an admiration of your spirit and ability to create and share with others. To use life’s difficulties as opportunities as you have done is a skill that many struggle with. The move from Vancouver into such a drastically different climate weather wise and socially really resonated deeply with me as I have had a similar experience. You were able to beautifully put into words some if the feelings I felt in that transition. You have a lovely voice and I very much enjoyed the podcast.

Hi Suzie 🙂 I love your podcasts, they are very honest and heartfelt. Your story is very interesting! The Maritime winters go right through me. It’s not too bad here in South-Central NB, it’s been quite mild, but I remember living in Summerside on P.E.I. and that ocean winter nearly killed me. The older I get the less tolerant I am of cold weather. I can’t imagine anyone making you feel ashamed of wanting to bake cookies. I’m glad that you found your foodie calling and followed that voice. I am going through a similar situation where I got a message and for a year I’ve ignored it…now I’m following it and I feel like I’m transforming. It’s pretty cool. I hope Kitchener becomes your new nexus 🙂 It should, after all it has the word “kitchen” in the name of the town!!! 🙂
