Yes it is Shell! I am hoping it is covered by our insurance. It could have been so much worse, I realize that now. At the time I thought I had broken my foot in two places but so relieved it was just sprained. Yes, trying to tap into that crazy Aquarius energy and inspiration no matter what!

I still have my fucking boot — it was too expensive to throw out.
I missed the bottom step 5 weeks ago and am still in agony — so tomorrow when back in London I am going to spend hours in waiting rooms as the pain is midback and affecting my sleep.

Olivia… Six MONTHS?! OMG, that’s awful! The doc didn’t even look at my leg, just got the x-ray results and had zero advice for me. I hurt mine so badly that I wouldn’t be surprised if I spent most of this year in the boot. You poor thing! I am sorry that happened to you. Hugs.

Debra, it is a blood MIRACLE is didn’t shatter my foot, ankle and leg. Seriously, I am TOUGH! It’s the only time in my life my body has been a badass, taking all that damage and not breaking. But yeah, it totally sucks. Yes! Isn’t that the best?!

No way! I didn’t know Burger Priest was outside of Toronto at all, that’s awesome! And I am so glad you agree that they have flippin’ awesome burgers. Wow, Marble Slab ice cream to boot! (No pun intended.) You just gotta have ice cream after a burger.

And Sweet Jesus is in Edmonton?! Holy crap! I gotta get out. I keep hearing not so great reviews of it but I just love the sound of it so much and how cool she was wearing a hijab, that’s fantastic. They were getting REALLY picketed and protested here for a while. I am glad we have gotten past it. It is the #1 place I wanted to go after moving here. One day…

When I saw that boot, I thought “OH NO!!!!” Glad to hear it is just a sprain and not a break, but it sucks you have to deal with this on top of everything else. But I like that new superhero persona “Cyborg Suzie!”

There’s a Burger’s Priest burger bar about a block from me and I had one of their cheeseburgers last night for supper. Best burger in town, as far as I’m concerned. Then for dessert I had mango ice cream at the next door Marble Slab ice cream place!

Edmonton just got its first “Sweet Jesus” in a local mall food court and when I walked past last week, it was being staffed by a young lady in a hijab which I thought was a nice touch, LOL!
