2010 Canadian Weblog Awards Exclusive Nominee Interview with Suzie Ridler of Suzie the Foodie

Moi
I know, weird to come here and see me and not food!

I have exciting news and just have to share it with all my blogging friends! I have been nominated for a 2010 Canadian Weblog Award in the Food and Drink category and was recently interviewed. You can read the interview here and get to know me and my foodie story a little more.
It was a lot of fun to share my story about how I became a food blogger. It has been quite an Odyssey and I did it pretty much all alone. It is one of the reasons I love sharing my stories and process here. When I learned to cook and bake I had nobody and was frustrated out of my mind.
Now I can share my hard-earned wisdom with you and hopefully make your life in the kitchen easier and, if I am lucky, entertain you in the process.

What a great interview, Suzie! And the interviewer is right — your food photography is great! I know food is notoriously difficult to capture on film and that it rarely looks as appetizing as it really is, but yours always succeeds! It was interesting to read how much effort you put into taking those photos. Thank you!
