Kitchen Tip: Pizza Pan Lid

February 17, 2014 by Suzie the Foodie 4 Comments

Was greeted by some serious stress today but I promise, chocolate cake post is coming!

In the meantime, I discovered a second use for my pizza pan which was replaced by pizza stones. I have this HUGE frying pan that I use for making stir fries but do not have a lid large enough so… Voila! My pizza pan works like a charm. I used it last night too with a frying pan that I own that does not even have a handle, LOL. I love “making things work” and this worked perfectly! Ends up being a great splatter screen too.

OK, off to deal with mega house-selling paperwork and crap like that. BTW, I ate that chocolate cake aaaaaalllllll weekend. Yum! Still eating like a foodie queen.

I use a pizza pan as a lid for some of my pans too! Works so well. See, you’re starting to be frugal and inventive with your supplies already! You’ll handle this financial setback with no problem!

Hope the mega paper work also involves a good cuppa tea.

Yes, I’ve been doing that since I met Rick…I think he suggested it. I do it for the exact same reason, large fry pan, use a pizza stone, have Rick’s tin pizza pan 🙂
