President’s Choice holiday foodie treasures & geeking out at Hal-Con

I could not believe the size of the box filled with new President’s Choice holiday products that showed up at my door yesterday! Then when I opened it, there was the most stunning display case, like an advent calendar.

Christmas has definitely come to our home very early this year! Look at all those treasures. Absolutely amazing, I am totally overwhelmed. Chocolate chips, jalapeno potato chips, cookies, coffee… I am going to have so much fun photographing these treats, putting them through my test kitchen and sharing the results with you!

To give you context and share a funny story… When my delivery guy showed up with the box he asked if I would like it brought upstairs. It was so huge and looked so heavy, I knew there was no way I could bring it upstairs so I said yes. He said it was a 30-lb box! Good thing I did not try lifting it myself.

Then I realized he was about to walk in to all our Hal-Con chaos. How do you explain to someone that your husband dressed up as Bender from Futurama over the weekend? Anyway, that box is bigger than Bender’s body which is quite huge. The whole trying to explain the situation was a tad ridiculous and quite hysterical.

I have to share Reg’s performance at Hal-Con with you. I feel like you all know Reg and are friends with him, I hope you enjoy this video. He has been so supportive of my foodie obsession, it is my turn to show him off and share what an amazing job he did at the costume contest. I may be Suzie the Foodie but I am also really big into all thing geeky and supernatural. Considering how busy we have been at Hal-Con, I appreciate President’s Choice keeping us alive with all their fantastic goodies while I recover from the con. It is going to take some time before I really get back into the kitchen.
