Sensational Snap Society Ecourse Contest

March 30, 2010 by Suzie the Foodie 12 Comments

Shelagh from Alice in Paris Loves Art and Tea asked me to join her ecourse on photography. I had already been seriously considering taking this course but with my back woes, time on the computer right now is not a good idea for me but it would be a great idea for you! She said that I could give up my spot to an online friend and that is where you come in. Leave a comment here and I will pick a winner on Thursday. The course starts this Friday!

Wow! Suzie – it’s really too bad you can’t do this course, but understandable certainly! Looking after your health is the most important thing!

I think this course looks SO fun!! I take a ton of photos anyway, so would be super fun to join in on something like this 🙂

I took a 3 lesson photography class recently which made me realize just how much I don’t know. But I did learn about the little flower symbol on my camera which means that the camera is set to take a close up shot. Very handy when you are shooting food! LOL. No wonder my earlier photos looked so out of focus. I would love to learn more…..thanks for the contest. I hope your back will be better soon.

Funny, I met Alice in Paris Loves Art and Tea (Shelagh)…she won the contest on my blog and since she didn’t live far away I thought I would drive her winnings to her. Leave it to a Nova Scotian to make you feel welcomed. She invited me and my little one in for tea! I would love the chance to get to hang out with her again, meet some new people and get some good tips on picture taking!

I’m sorry that you aren’t feeling up to taking the class. I love photography and was actually thinking about signing up for the class but then forgot to, so I appreciate this last-chance opportunity!

    Hope you feel better soon!

Hi there! I am new to the Maritimes and am in the process of discovering the beauty around me. This e-course would be a wonderful opportunity for a photographic journey of discovery of my new home. Love Sheelagh’s work and would enjoy learning along with her on-line class.

I’ve been quietly reading your blog, as well as Shelagh’s. Found yours on a search for pagan photographs on Flickr, and hers through another blog I read sharleysstudio.blogspot.com. I have a strong passion for photography, but really don’t know a whole lot about the technical side of things. I’ve really been wanting to learn, but haven’t had the chance with my three kids – it’s a balancing act, for sure! I would love the opportunity to enter this contest… it sounds fantastic! I’m heading out to the Maritimes this summer on a road trip (living in Belleville Ontario now), and having never been there, it would be great to take photos where I know what I’m doing. Haha! Thanks to both of you!
