Spring in the Kitchen

March 19, 2013 by Suzie the Foodie 2 Comments

Spring in the Kitchen

Over the weekend Reg and I went out for dinner and a movie. We have absolutely become addicted to the food at Burrito Jax and how weird was it that it was still light out as we sat there eating our food?

Spring in the Kitchen

We went to see The Incredible Burt Wonderstone which was fun, especially for amateur magicians like us who have followed Chris Angel, David Blane…

Even though it was freezing out, it almost felt like spring because the sun was back and it lured me outside, something I have not been doing much these days. And it wasn’t just us. We had to forego treats at the movies because the lineups were so long.

There is something about the sun’s return that inspires me in the kitchen too. And not just because it makes a better environment for photographs. It is an air of renewal that sweeps through and tells me anything can happen. It makes me want to shake off the woes from winter and get out my knife and get to work.

Are you feeling more inspired in the kitchen lately?

Thanks Debra! It was fun to make. I guess insomnia does sometimes pay off, LOL.
