Best Subway Location: Bedford, Nova Scotia

August 27, 2014 by Suzie the Foodie 2 Comments

Reg is one of the biggest fans of Subway in the world. Seriously. He has photos of different Subway locations around the globe. Me? I like it but am not a mega fan like he is. What I recently discovered though is that I am a big fan of their Bedford location.

Watch out west coast. We are packed and loaded!

Yesterday the packers were at our house and today everything we own was packed away. Perhaps the longest two days of my life, watching our east coast world disappear, one piece at a time.

We are going to be eating out a lot for a long while so I suggested we go to Subway for dinner but this time we visited their Bedford location. It was the cleanest, hippest and comfiest Subway I have ever seen.

At Hammonds Plains and the Bedford Highway snuggled just across from the Sobeys you will find this Subway. Complete with flat screen TV, fireplace and comfy loveseat, we had our dinner in no time flat but it was the most comfortable meal I have ever had at Subway.

Considering it is going to be weeks before we feel like we have a home again, this was such a great surprise. Right now I am writing this barely able to move in bed in a hotel. To have just a moment of comfort and feel good while out eating other people’s food is worth sharing. I just wish all Subways rocked like this one.

I like Subway too, but I never noticed any variation in their decor from one franchise spot to another. And they’ve all seemed reasonably clean to me. Maybe I’ve just been lucky, LOL!

Is it going to cost you a small fortune to ship your stuff across Canada from one coast to the other? I don’t see how it won’t.

The Subway in our now “old” hood is uncomfortable to eat in, I always got food to go. It’s always crazy-cold too and never clean and the seats are made of plywood so this is a huge change for us.

Luckily Reg’s former employer is moving us which is another reason why we had to sell the house. We could never make this big a move on our own, you’re right.
