Reg and I spent yesterday in Halifax with his mom and wanted to treat her to some ice cream. My friend Kelly had emailed me and Jen these 2-for-1 coupons at Cold Stone Creamery (thanks Kelly, you rock!). We found one of their locations in Bedford and it was a beautiful warm sunny day yesterday, the timing was perfect.
The hardest part was figuring out what to get. The coupons covered everything on their Signature Creations list.
Then there was also a selection of berry ice creams to we could choose from.
This is my Coffee Loves Only ice cream being prepared. Cappuccino ice cream crammed with almonds, Skor and caramel.
Reg got the Blueberry Bliss which I thought was heavenly.
This is my completed Coffee Lovers Only, ready for me to dig in.
Lorraine got the Cookie Doughn’t You Want Some cup which she loved but said there were too many chocolate chips. Because we had an extra free cup, I also got the Peanut Butter Cup Perfection which lived up to its name. After we finished our ice cream we all had some of the peanut butter cup and agreed, next time we would get the Peanut Butter Cup Perfection. It was THAT delicious!
We are enjoying our staycation-on-a-budget and this ice cream was also our lunch. It was so nice to get to treat Lorraine and all that ice cream was just over $10 with our 2-for-1 coupons. Not bad! I always prefer homemade ice cream but right now, it is so nice to have someone make a treat for me for once.
How decadent! Perfect for staycation fun!
Oh my gosh they all look so wickedly good. I think I would defintely lean towards the Peanut Butter though. They also look like huge portions, my kind of place! I’m pretty sure we have a Timmy’s around here that serves ice cream, thanks so much for the coupon link, it will definitely come in handy for us 🙂
Yum, how nice! I love Coldstone’s! Great ice cream. And yes, isn’t it nice to have something made for you every once in a while? Looks like your having a really nice staycation with wonderful weather!
I’ve stayed away from Coldstone since they arrived here in Canada. I had some in LA and it was soooooo good. I don’t know if I can abstain anymore with this humidity. Nom nom nom!
