Random House of Canada has launched a fantastic new blog about living a healthy and delicious life called Crave. They asked to interview me for their first Crave Feature Blogger segment, how crazy-exciting is that?!
You can read all about how my blog started, my advice to other food bloggers and which famous chef would I love to dine with in the article. Thank you Random House of Canada for this experience. As always, it has been a pleasure working with you and wow, you ask really great questions!
Speaking of which, I will be filming my next Ask Suzie the Foodie segment soon so if you have more questions regarding just about anything, leave a comment here to be included in episode two. You can watch episode one here.
Way to go, Suzie! And I’m glad you picked Graham Kerr as your fantasy dinner chef — he really made cooking fun and accessible to people like never before. He was a real pioneer of “celebrity chefs” and I think is in danger of being forgotten today in a now very crowded field.
Thank you Debra! It was very exciting to be asked and really challenging to come up with answers. In the end, absolutely, Graham Kerr is my kind of foodie. Anyone who can make me laugh while he makes food is my kind of guy. I know, people don’t seem to remember him like other famous TV cooks which is a shame. He totally made me feel like food is for everyone, something I still really believe.
Awesome, Suzie! What a nice chance to share your story and a few words of wisdom.
What a wonderful and insightful interview. Funny, I was just talking about the Galloping Gourmet with hubby the other day, how much I adored his show as well. Also, we can’t forget “Wok with Yan,” another classic, funny guy in the kitchen. They need to bring those shows back.
Thank you Tori, so glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
Ava, were you really talking about him the other day? How wild!
Yes, Wok with Yan was the best, Reg’s dad loved that show. He did such great easy Chinese food. I miss shows like that! Entertaining and educational… Sigh…
Congrats on being featured on Crave. Very cool.
I have a question for the next Ask Suzie The Foodie.
Do you have a great and easy recipe on how to make good fudge?
Everytime I make fudge it never comes out right.
