Gathering the evidence…

Blueberries

Why did I take this picture you ask? Well right above the blueberries was a sign for $3.49 and here below them was a sign for $2.99. I just knew I was going to get charged the higher price so…I took this picture.
I am tired of telling the cashiers they charged me incorrectly. It is not their job to do the signage in the store so how would they know if I was telling them the truth? So I made it easier for them by taking and showing them the picture. I am sure the people in the “express” line were happy I had taken the picture as well! The cashier thought this idea was quite clever and kept laughing about it and telling people my bright idea as she quickly got someone to void the items.
Am I the only one who keeps getting charged the higher price?! I mean $2.99 for a pint of blueberries is already steep. We have to make sure that we do what we have to in order to get the deals, right?
Produce is so expensive already and less and less people are eating a healthy diet, especially kids. If you read this article you will see that soon the younger generation of Canadian kids will no longer be living as long as their parents. Now I think healthy food is for everyone, not just children. We should all eat better and if you got to take photographs to prove the quoted lower prices, do it.
We all deserve the joy and healing of blueberries. So be a sleuth like me! Get those deals and then eat up the evidence.

That’s a really clever idea, Suzie. I’m going to use that technique next time I see some price disparity which may come back to bite me at the check out. Thanks!

Yay you! Quick thinking:) I once saw a woman take a picture of her hotel and street sign so if she got lost or forgot, she could show it to someone.

    Great idea Suzie!

I agree, people need to eat more fruits and vegetables. That’s one thing I’m loving about NECI- fruit!
