I absolutely could not do Halloween treats without including witches in some way! This recipe idea came from Taste of Home’s Marshmallow Witches but I did have to change a few things and make it my own.
This is not really even a recipe, there is no cooking or baking involved. You take a big marshmallow and using some icing, attach mini chocolate chips for the eyes and nose. Then take a small plastic bag and add some food colouring to it with a little water. Add some sweetened shredded coconut and shake. Using the icing, attach the hair. Then make the hat with large chocolate wafers. I couldn’t find Mini Peanut Butter Cups so I used Rolos topped with candy corn or just added a macaroon:
Super cute! Now, these are awkward to eat and they fall over really easily. If you are going to put them on display I suggest you add some icing to the bottom to make sure they stay put. This recipe is a little finicky but the aesthetics are easy to accomplish but you need quite a few components so I am giving this recipe four out of five wooden spoons.
These are soooo freakin’ cute! Love it!
This would be fun to do with kids. I’m sure they’d love it!
These are so perfect and adorable! You’re giving me so many wonderful ideas. Question- what are you doing with all these sweets?! Are you giving them away? If not you must be in a permanent sugar coma these days, lol.
How fun! š
They are adorable!!
Such fun!! I love seeing your lovely (and scary!) Halloween treats. I’ve told you before – I wasn’t allowed to celebrate Halloween as a child, and therefore, I’ve never really done any of this fun stuff! I have fun seeing your fun! š
Looks like fun and I’m a fan of rolos.
Coffee is on.
Cute!
