Happy Halloween Foodies!

Foodie TV: Kawaii Halloween Hello Kitty Baking Book Giveaway

Reg and I picked up our pumpkins and Halloween treats the other day and are all set to have fun tonight handing out candy!

Happy Halloween Foodies!

I was walking around my hood and found that there were some Halloween enthusiasts living amongst us.

I also finally put together a video with all the best moments from the 2014 Vancouver Zombie Walk. The makeup was unbelievable and the turnout? Completely wild.

Reg and I will be carving pumpkins but we ended up donating a lot of our Halloween stuff before the move. It will be interesting to see how creative we get this year!

Ever since I found out about the NestlĂ© Cocoa Plan I have bought their box of chocolates for Halloween.

And other treats as well of course! Happy to support a Canadian company that helps farmers and is against the use of child labour.

This year we also got a giant box of Old Dutch Popcorn Twists to add to the loot of the tricker or treaters. We have yet to break into our Halloween stash so hopefully they were a good choice.

Happy Halloween Foodies!

Halloween is my favourite time of year, hands down. My whole life I have experienced magic in the air on this special day. I also like to feast but this year have fun out of produce so it will be an interesting one. All I know is that I am thrilled we can give out candy to kids this year in our new neighbourhood and that we did not end up in a high rise condo watching trick or treaters run around from the 20th floor.

It will be a noisy one! Between the fireworks and the fact we have the LOUDEST doorbell in the world, I expect quite a party tonight.

May you have a delicious and spooky (but safe) Halloween. Light those jack-o-lanterns and have fun on the wildest night of the year.

Enjoy your Halloween activities tonight! I hope the severed arm in the mailbox made the trip from Halifax. That was always my fave of the decorations you’d show on the blog. Happy Halloween and a Blessed Samhain to you and Reg!

Nestle Cocoa Plan is great … not sure that it makes up for flooding African women with formula vs breast feeding when there is little safe water for them to mix it with … and their breast milk dries up in the mean time.
    LOVE coffee crips though …
