Yes, I am stepping out into the market with my foodie photos! But I really need your advice. Before I start adding widgets and marketing, I have to do my own product testing with the company. As a result, I would love for you to vote in my poll for which shirt you would like me to order. I would also love some feedback in my other poll about what you potentially would prefer to see in my foodie photo clothing store.
Do you prefer black shirts to light? Keep in mind, white items are cheaper.
Do you just want foodie photos or do you like text too?
What kind of clothing would you be inclined to buy? If you love tank tops, would you be willing to pay more for them? For some reason they cost a bit more.
I wanted to make aprons (of course!) but I was having trouble finding them for sale. Would you only buy an apron or do t-shirts interest you?
It is totally fine if you have no interest in purchasing anything ever. High pressure sales suck!
Suzie goes high tech!
Believe it or not, Reg and I do not have a cell phone but I thought the photos looked so cool as cell phone skins I just had to add them too. Obviously I can not product test these since I do not have a phone but thought you might get a kick out of them.
It is time for me to start thinking bigger and getting creative. I would love to hear anything you have to say on this project. Your opinions mean so much to me so go for it!
This has always been a dream of mine, to have my own store. I find this super exciting. I hope you do too!
Hey, Suzie, what an exciting new adventure! I’d go with D for a test. I think it’s worthwhile checking both the photo and the text. And wow, I think the cell phone skins are totally cool!
I like the meringue ghosts and bite my bleeding head. Personally, I only use white tees for nighties to sleep in. I always buy men’s tees — women’s tees and tanks are no use to me. Good luck with this venture!
I really like both the meringue ghosts and the bleeding heart on the black, they look awesome. Voted for the ghosts though. If you could get these done on aprons somehow, I really think it would be a really cool tie in since it’s all things foodie related.
OMG I just had a flashback to 1970 when a friend of mine got a t-shirt with a photo of weiners and beans on it. It was a scratch’n’sniff t-shirt and we couldn’t stop sniffing him, lol…move over Gain Fabric Softner.
I like D. Especially with
Valentnes day approaching:-)
Good point Jamie, testing out one with both photo and text is smart! I’m so glad you like the spooky ones Debra! Ava, only one person voted for an apron so far so I’m not sure. They end up being quite expensive and almost impossible to find in black. OMG, that flashback is awesome!!! Suz, oh yes, that’s so true! You could use that for Valentine’s Day too, hehe.
So excited for you Suzie! I like the “bite my bleeding heart” on black! I’ve already got one in my shopping cart. Gotta find my credit card and order it asap. I like the eye ball one too with the text! I think adding “punny” sayings make them appeal to not only foodies but other young people alike. I would love to see a “window” one with the words “window to my soul” or something on it but maybe with a spookier window photo? I know you must have one :0) “May eye help you” would make a great staff shirt for employees at Halloween. I like ones where the background colour in the photo sort of matches the colour of the shirt like the “bite my heart” and some others. If the sorbet one had a white background in the photo and was sitting on that white shirt it would really pow! Keep it up and keep me posted. I don’t get to your blog much so don’t forget to remind me on FB when you’ve got something new and exciting like this!! Hugs!!
Oh yeah and if the skins were available for other cell phones as well or for lap tops, that would be cool!
Fran, you are the best! Right now I am just looking for feedback because I want to do product testing on the shirt and the shopping experience before others start buying but it means so much to me that you want to buy one already!
Oh, window to my soul… I like that!
I love “May eye help you” Halloween-work-shirt idea! You are so creative.
A lot of the colours of the shirts are pastel and don’t really go with the photo colours which is why I think black as contrast works but I will look into it more.
Right now I think they only have the one cell phone skin available but I will look into it.
Thanks Fran!
D! I love D!
I like the witty sayings with the photos, too.
I like the tank, and I like it in black or white. All of your stuff looks great, though. It’s hard to choose.
Oh, me and Dave don’t have cell phones either. (And proud of it!)
Thank you Cathy! Your comment really helped and it’s nice to know another couple who does not own a cell phone. We are a rare breed!
