Woot! Another giveaway! But please note, this contest is open to residents of the U.S. only. Prize? One box of Special K Red Berries, a red cereal bowl, one spoon set, a red milk jug and a branded Special K tote bag.

“Made with whole grains and now with more real strawberries, a bowl of Special K Red Berries and milk is a nutritionally dense breakfast choice that gives women fiber, folic acid and vitamin D they may be lacking. As you know, it’s important to get certain nutrients in certain amounts each day in order to feel our best. But how to get these nutrients – and how much, for that matter – is not always as clear. That’s why Special K is working with cooking host and YouTube star Laura Vitale to help inform women how swapping out a few ingredients each day can help your readers get all of the nutrients they need, without breaking the bank or sacrificing taste. You can check out Laura’s tips and nutrient swap-ins here.” ~ Promo intel

I found this cereal to be less sweet than I was expecting. There is a good amount of hydrated strawberries included too, apparently more than there used to be. I would always love more fruit of course.

The cereal has great crunch but everything does get a little soft quite quickly once you add your milk so do not let it sit and enjoy the crispiness of the flakes and the texture of the strawberries right away.

I was a little unsure about the “swap-in” something good campaign. I guess if you’re feeling low on fiber, whole grains, folic acid and vitamin D you can have a bowl of cereal. That said, the other swap-in ideas they have are lentils, tuna, chickpeas, corn, avocado… which just made my head spin. Why would I put any of those in cereal? I understand what they were trying to accomplish but it still feels kind of weird.

That said, I liked the cereal and give it four out of five wooden spoons. The swag is awesome so I hope you enter the contest! Remember, you must be in the U.S. and leave a comment here on this post. Contest closes Thursday August 13, 2015.

Good luck!
