I finally did it! I made my calendar Sweet Memories! Not only that, I made a video for it shot in my own kitchen on a rare sunny afternoon. I hope you like it, it feels weird being on the other side of the camera.
I went through all my photographs and decided I wanted a calendar completely dedicated to sweet treats, they just look so darn pretty! Not only do we get to reminisce together as we the months go by next year, I have also included some foodie holidays each month just in case we need some kitchen inspiration.
We begin with snowy truffles in January, sorbet in July… finishing with chocolate fudge in December. A year-long journey through food that we can make together! I know I can not wait to put my calendar up in my kitchen for next year.
Thanks goes out to my friend Shelagh for bringing this idea to my attention and believing I could make it happen and to my sister Shannon who I hired as a proofreader and editor who helped make it happen. I could not have done this without you!
If you want to visit the blog posts that are included in my Sweet Memories calendar… here they are!
Michael Smith’s Cinnamon Buns, Trouble with Truffles, Nigella’s Chocolate Cloud Cake, The Drowning Brownie, Laura Calder’s Creme Caramel, Blueberry Orange Cake, Emeril’s Strawberry-Rhubarb Irish Crumble, Victoria Magazine’s Cantaloupe Sorbet, Lorraine’s Tea Biscuits with Blueberries, my Peaches and Cream Panna Cotta, Taste of Home’s Halloween Mice, Alton Brown’s “The Chewy” and Bohemian Single Mom’s Holiday Chocolate Fudge.
