Next out of the holiday gift basket is PC All-Butter Scottish Shortbread Collection.
You can watch the unboxing video here.
Of course by the time I got the huge basket home from downtown, the cookies were a little dishevelled in their box.
But NOT broken! Impressive.
It may appear as though there are two layers to the tin of shortbread cookies but no, there is just one.
They come in varying sizes and designs and look so pretty. Perfect for company.
But how do they taste? I had some before my art class and saved some for Reg but took the rest in and way before the class was over…
They were GONE! People were so excited to see shortbread cookies in class and most people who tried one went back for many more.
Homemade shortbread are always best but these are very good. As Reg said, excellent with tea. We both enjoyed ours immensely. Yes, they were dry but that is part of the shortbread experience; hence, having them with tea. These were very respectable and definitely Christmas-party-worthy.
I give these cookies four out of five wooden spoons. If you do not have time to bake your own, bring these with you. They are a definite crowd-pleaser!
Yes, I’ve been eyeing all the shortbread in the stores right now. If only it wasn’t so fattening! You have the right idea — enjoy a couple at home and then take the rest somewhere for other people to eat!
It’s so true!! So fattening so yes, share!!! 🙂
Where can they be bought? Elliot Lake does not seem to carry them.
Hi Rosalie! Often PC holiday products only come out once. They like to try new things each year and they aren’t always as all the stores. I wish I could be more helpful!
