I guess I’ve been fighting of a cold (or was in total denial) for a while. I should have known when I wrote the post “I need a holiday” I was jinxing myself. I’ve been doing too much for too long and I am having a hard time breathing, baked a stuffed turkey breast for dinner last night scared I was going to pass out from my fever.
So I am logging off until I feel less like hell. Not to worry, the big giveaway my newsletter readers know all about will still begin on Friday, somehow. It will run all weekend.
When I look and feel less like death I am going to do a video about my favourite things for the holidays. I wanted to add a Q&A session so if you have some questions or stuff you want me to read on the video, just leave a comment here.
OK, I gotta go. Going to curl up into a ball and live on miso soup for a while.
~ Suzie the Foodie
Take care of yourself, Suzie! (Somebody make her some nice chicken soup, oK?)
Feel better soon, Suzie girl!
Get some much needed rest my friend. Look forward to your favorite things Video.
Oh dear – I hope you feel better soon. Sometimes our bodies know we are doing too much and knock us off our feet for a bit to say “slow down!” Take it easy, couch it for as long as you need. (((hugs)))
And please talk about being snow-bound in your video? Like maybe some ways to cope and things to do while inside all day (or for days on end)…we both know these blizzardy days are coming).
Suzie, take all the time you need. Don’t feel pressured to post. Looking forward to the video.
Oh Suzie that sucks, I guess being sick is a real appetite killer…boohoo. Well, unfortunately it is the yucky virus season so take care of yourself, lots of fluids, rest and Tylenol and healing wishes are being sent your way.
I hope you feel better soon!
PS I went to the Superstore (I NEVER shop there!!!) and bought decadent semi sweet chocolate chips… plus the white, milk chocolate and chocolate chunks….and 2 jars of the blueberry jam you blogged about!!!
Now I’m going to bake your cookies!
You have a lovely blog, your honesty is disarming, I wish you great health, hope you get better soon. Kisses.
Yes, feel better soon Suzie. I am looking forward to your video of your favorite Christmas things : )
