I just couldn’t resist sharing this photo. My mom took it after we had a long day apple picking. It was one of the best days of my life. I found it so exciting to go from tree to tree, trying to find the perfect apple. I do not have a lot of memories like this I am afraid and it turns out my siblings did not feel the same positive enthusiasm as I did.
Still, even way back when, there were hints and clues that I was a foodie.
I am glad my mom caught this moment. This important day that I still cherish.
