I don’t know about you but I am feeling quite exhausted and knocked out from all the Halloween excitement.
The night before we went to the VanDusen Glow in the Garden event!
So many amazing jack-o-lanterns!!!
Any excuse to get dressed up and walk around in the orange glow is good enough for us!
The day of Halloween I got out my bread maker and started making the Podleski sisters’ pizza dough and used my Instant Pot to cook squash. I made a Buffalo chicken pizza served with my Roasted Butternut Squash Soup for Halloween dinner.
While I was doing so Reg carved the jack-o-lanterns and got out the Halloween decorations.
I do not think we have ever been so prepared so early in the day before.
Night fell and it took a while for the trick-or-treaters to come out and play.
But they did eventually arrive and we had a few dozen!
Check out the shadow on the bottom right hand corner of this photo! We even had a touch of spookiness this Halloween.
It always sounds like a war zone on Halloween in Vancouver. Fireworks went on all night. Reg was woken up at 4:30 am with huge loud ones bursting into the deep night’s sky. It always ends with a bang here on the west coast.
Hope you had a wonderful Halloween foodies!
