It seems that being a foodie while on a staycation is nearly impossible for me. Especially when that so-called stay-at-home vacation involves refinishing your front deck. This isn’t half of the kitchen anarchy actually, I just did not have the heart to photograph tubs of chemicals and cans on stain sitting in my pretty white kitchen sink.
I love that my Victoria Magazine is open to the page for recipes that I want to try but just have not had the time to contemplate making. I am looking forward to life slowing down, my kitchen becoming a place for food again and living on more than just smoothies and grilled cheese sandwiches, no matter how delicious they are.
So don’t give up on me! I am now more inspired than ever to create beautiful food in the kitchen.

Home renos can really take over the whole house, can’t they?

When we renovated our kitchen a few years ago, we didn’t have a kitchen for SIX WEEKS! It was torture!
