I received an invite to attend the Artisan Market at the Anvil Centre which was also happening during the Columbia StrEAT Food Truck Fest.
Art AND food?! My two favourite things! And both events were FREE!
The Venue
I had never been to the Anvil Centre before so I was happy to check it out.
There was a great turnout for the event and lots of cool crafty items to check out.
The Artists
Nan’s Crafts totally stole my heart!
I wish I could give her online credit but her website isn’t working. Adorable little toys!
C Yarn Hut With Love did extraordinarily cute pieces of work!
My favourite of course were foodie-related. Unbelievable!
Clara Leung is amazingly talented and crochets with thread!
Kitchening & Co. makes these fabulously beautiful macarons. These are made in a climate-controlled environment and the company is located in Langley, BC.
This was our treat from the event that I came home with that we enjoyed after The Tragically Hip concert. So good!
Is there anything more perfect and wonderful than pairing art with food?!
Just so you know, the answer is, no, there isn’t!
The Happy Whisk says
Art and food. Those are two good ones.
