I just could not resist picking up a Cadbury Screme Egg the other day! I am not an “Easter” person so the idea of a Halloween version of the classic treat was too much for me to resist.
Especially after seeing their commercial, I was hooked. Love it!
It cost me 99 cents and I wondered if it would be any different than the original creme egg?
Flavour-wise, I say it is the same (crazy sweet!) but there is green goo inside which rocks! Not something I would buy every day but to celebrate Halloween’s approach? Absolutely!
Speaking of Halloween! You know it’s my favourite foodie time of year. Let me know if there is a spooky treat I have not yet tested for you and your Halloween party this year. Time to pull out my cauldrons, gravestones, skulls… Truly the best time of the year.
Also, I put a poll up to find out how much you want me to do Halloween treats this year. Is it your thing or not?
I recently got the Scream Eggs for the kids, they liked them but also agree it’s the same taste as the Easter ones. I used to get really annoyed when people would put the Easter ones in their candy bags at Halloween, so no excuses now! They’ll need to find another way to get rid of their leftover Easter candy lol…
And YES!!! Halloween foodie posts are always something to look forward to. My daughter just got a fun cookbook from the library with lots of spooky and yummy inspiration:

love Halloween so yes pls make stuff for it!
Oh Ava, so glad you like the posts! And OMG, Easter eggs in a Halloween bag? That is annoying! And wow, that looks like the coolest spooky cookbook in the world. Nice choice!
Thanks Sandi! You also helped inspire me. Pick up some ingredients to make spooky goodies soon.
Thanks for your support. It’s sometimes hard for me to tell what’s working and what isn’t. I love spooky food but wasn’t sure how much others like it!
oh how I wish they sold theses here in Australia! they look so good 🙂
