Celebrating Dairyland’s 100th Anniversary

Yesterday I had just gotten home from a doctor’s appointment when our Big Ben doorbell rang. I was not expecting anything so was I ever surprised when this big blue bag from Dairyland was hand delivered to my door.  

The Mystery

Yes, it was for me! What on earth was waiting for me inside? The bag was hellishly heavy!

Milk! Tons and tons of milk! Skim, 1%, 2% and 3.25%! Holy cow and yes, pun absolutely intended.

Turns out Dairyland is celebrating its 100th anniversary! And yes, it is our brand of choice.

That’s Not All!

This is when I freaked out a little. There were these stunning milk carton shaped cookies and look, that is me and Reg at our wedding printed on the very top cookie! Oh my goodness, how lovely. How absolutely sneaky too, I am totally impressed.

There Is More…

And look! More vanilla cookies with the milk cartons printed on the top and damn, those cookies are delicious. Totally fun and our wedding cookies are so thoughtful. I was quite blown away.

Getting Creative

Dairyland asked me to think about what foodie memories I wanted to make this year. Oh dear, my imagination goes to crazy places sometimes!

Meet Godzilla The Foodie! My love of classic horror movies got the best of me. FYI, me as Godzilla devouring the cookie with me and Reg printed on top is completely and utterly a Reg-approved idea!

Happy Anniversary Dairyland! A hundred years is a hell of a long time for a company to be in business. We are loyal consumers of your products and are so thrilled you are celebrating this huge milestone.

Thank you for the milk and cookies! They will be put to good use (probably devoured whole by Godzilla The Foodie and perhaps Mothra if Reg can find moth wings).
