Oh we were doing so well. First, we dressed up at pirates and went to the pirate fest. Then we were in a parade! While we were in the Bayers Lake area Reg took me to the new monstrous Value Village in Bayers Lake, way up on the top of a hill.
It was so big, my wide angle camera was unable to cover its vastness and I bet it is going to be even wider, considering the giant blue curtain wall hiding the other side. Yes, I could have spent all day in there.
But for Reg’s sanity sake, I just picked up this new-to-me marble rolling pin and I am going to turn the keychain into a pendant. For me, this shows extreme restraint. We were in and out of there in 15-20 minutes.
We ended up finishing our vacation with just starting to get ready to paint. Although Reg did donate a ton of stuff and I am so proud of him.
At least the new owners of our house will have a brand spankin’ new dishwasher to enjoy but wow, this is one of the most exhausting so-called “vacations” I have ever had. And it’s not ending. Still more prepping, painting… to do. I have a feeling my kitchen is going to become even more of an oasis than ever!
The best laid plans of mice and men, eh? Keep smiling!
