It is my birthday!!! And on my birthday, I love to give away presents. I am a hobbit that way, well, that and I adore mushrooms and food in general of course. This year I have a bunch of treasures I want to send to my foodie friends. There are some simple rules:
- Contest is open to anyone, anywhere (Yay!)
- If you can, please connect with me on Etsy.
- You can only pick one treasure to choose from so pick wisely.
- In the comments me know what you would like to see more on on my blog, other than more recipes please. (I am already working on that, LOL)
- You must leave contact information in the comments so I can connect with you immediately.
Giveaway closes Friday January 24, 2014.
The Prizes
This is an actual candy butterfly that I suspended in resin with gold sparkles in the background.
I made this bottle cap raspberry jam pendant using a page from an old crockpot cookbook. The “jam” is hand-dyed resin.
Cinnamon bun pendant with matching earring set. Aren’t they cute?!
A cookie pendant with the word “YUM” attached to it glued to a wooden disc.
Pink Rock Star Cupcake with white icing and topped with a skull.
A black apron embroidered with a pink skull and crossbones on it.
Reg was very kind to model it for me and no, he is not being given away as a prize. He is all mine!
I gave The Snacking Dead: A Parody in a Cookbook four out of five wooden spoons and know there is someone out there that this would be perfect for. I had a ton of fun reading it and am ready to pay it forward to another foodie freak like me. You could always win it for someone else, I would be happy to send it to them.
Acorn Press donated a copy of CBC Bookie Award-Winner Milary MacLeod’s new book Something Fishy to the giveaway. “Herrings are falling from the sky over The Shores – an unusual phenomenon anywhere, but especially so in this case. A newcomer, Anton Paradis, has set up a restaurant that specializes in dangerous dining, cooking up food that can kill to tantalize the palates of wealthy clients. It’s a recipe for death.” Lots of foodie reading fun.
Good Luck Foodie Rock Stars!
Check out the kitchen toy I got for my birthday!!!

I would love the butterfly pendant and I would like to see printable recipes in your blog! You know, where you click on a link and you get the recipe without all the pictures. Pictures are great when you read but take too much paper and ink to print!
Thank you!

Happy birthday Suzie!! I love your treasures!! I LOVE the cupcake pendant, but… the mystery novel sounds so fun too! You rock Suzie. I remember when you were just thinking of this blog – look what you’ve manifested!! I don’t get to comment often anymore (not enough time at home on my computer!) but I’m proud of you, and love reading your posts!!
Jeanette O'Rourke says
I tried 4 times with no success to comment from my phone…hope this time is the charm!!
I love your reviews (couldn’t have agreed more about the high protein oatmeal one), and I love that a lot of your ideas focus around items currently on sale locally (such a bonus).
I’d love to see more appetizer type nibble foods that I often end up making on a Saturday night when we don’t want a sit down meal – but rather a night of munchies.
If I had to pick, I’d choose the cinnamon bun set. Reminds me of my grandmother. She made the best cinnamon rolls.
Happy Birthday!!!
Jeanette O'Rourke says
