CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED!
For those of you who subscribe to my newsletter, you had secret knowledge this giveaway was coming! I am happy to announce that Raincoast Books sent me Quirk Books‘ The Geometry of Pasta and Gibbs Smith‘s Little Monsters Cookbook for a Halloween giveaway on my blog!
The Geometry of Pasta is unlike any other book on pasta you will ever find. The graphic design detail and interpretation of pasta is fascinating and has amazing insight into the world of pasta and includes recipes. This is going to make a pasta lover very happy!
During November I am going to need a lot of comfort food as winter descends so I will also be testing out the recipes in my kitchen from my own personal copy of the book.
Little Monsters Cookbook is going to make one family household very happy! The illustrations and photographs are so vibrant and fun, the ideas very clever and creative. This truly was made for cute little monsters to play with.
My husband and I tested the Mad Scientist Mix-Up ourselves with a video so make sure to check out the post to see how that turned out!
I did an interpretation of the book’s Coffin Crunchers which you can check out here. Fun and delicious!

I am so excited about your give away -it all looks AWESOME….
I love the fall harvesting part of halloween….but the best time I ever spent concerning halloween is when I owned a daycare was creating a haunted house and setting up different games/activities for all the kids and even the neighborhood kids…we did it every year and it was the best and safest way for kids to celebrate halloween–truly a great time – wonderful memories!!

I’ve always been the “spooky” kid, and my love of all things Halloween didn’t help that. I’m currently decorating my house in an “Addams Family Chic” motif. I also collect Halloween themed cookbooks and run the Halloween_Food recipe group at yahoo groups.

Halloween has always been my favorite!I love to see my two little boys dressing up in their costumes that they pick out, and looking at the smiles on their faces. I also love skulls, so it’s always so much fun to decorate our house! Thank you so much for the giveaway.

Halloween is making its way into the culture here. It wasn´t mentioned at all until a few years ago. Nowadays Kindergartens allow kids to go with costumes on the day and there are Halloween candies but no trick or treating and no parties.
Two years ago I hosted a Halloween party with close friends which was a success and kids still ask when we´d host the next. š

Daniel even made a tombstone for our front yard and put some red lights in the bushes to illuminate it. We were the talk of the neighbourhood. Lol!

Halloween is all about decorating your house and sewing your childrens costumes. As soon as school would start we would sit down with our mom and plan our halloween costume, then we would all make it together.
I was able to do that with my son who is 18 now and now I am blessed with a 8 month old daughter. I get to start all over again. On the day of halloween my mom would make us all monstermilk and this was the only time that we would get it. It is half milk and half koolaid. It is really gross now, but I did the same with my son and he loved it too…This is a tradition that I am passing down to my children and one day to my grandchildren…

Oh the pasta book looks so interesting and little monster cookbook looks so cute. Hey you dont have to be a kid to love those creative recipes.
Oh I love Halloween!. I actually started loving Halloween the older I got surprisingly lol. I began loving it more when baking became a passion of mine because its an big excuse to get your creativity going and make up your own ideas. I just baked some Halloween treats and be posting them up soon. Plus ill be making a spooky pizza for Halloween night. Should be awesome!
I love the costume aspect of Halloween especially the creative homemade outfits. This year I have mine pretty much homemade minus a velvet cape with a hood I’m using( This spooky item really ties in with my costume).
Lastly, THE CANDY! LOL, cant go wrong with a little chocolate and a little cookie. I love the twix and kitkat. Twix is the only chocolate candy bar with the cookie crunch LOL (George Costanza. I feel for him, twix is awesome lol.
Well I stop rambling now!

Halloween for me will never be the same as it was when I was a kid. We lived in the country and had a big…and I mean BIG… van. My dad would drive us to the neighbours we knew – which amounted to about 10 houses – and we, the three sisters, would climb out the side of the van, freeze run to the doors (freezing our puhtukahs off) to trick or treat. I don`t remember the people so much as the smells, the cold, the dark (it is Ontario after all and snow on Halloween is common) and not wearing our seat belts. It was the ONLY time we didn`t wear seat belts. And my dad. I remember the time giggling and sharing goodies with our dad.

I love all the creepiness and great horror movies that run 24/7 during the month of October, really puts you in the mood for a spooky time. Watching “Mirrors” as I type this.
Then of course there’s all the fun Halloween themed food to make and bake. So much fun, the Witchy Fingers we made were such a hit I know they’ll be making a comeback next year. Thanks so much for this great giveaway, I’m a huge fan of both pasta and little monsters so they are a perfect giveaway!

I am so excited about these cookbooks! My favorite part about halloween is that I have 5 kids ages 10 and under and every year they all LOVE to dress up as a theme. We have done Goldilocks and the Three Bears, the Wizard of Oz, Princesses and Knights in Shining Armor, and this year they are all Toy Story. It is the one part of Halloween that I look forward to every year!
Oh, I don’t know if it shows my email address, so it is mccomin@shaw.ca if you are interested.

What a perfect giveaway! I love Halloween so much. I remember being 11 years old and dressed up like Cleopatra. I remember it was a warm Beggars Night and we would run from one house to the next. I remember the condensation that formed on the inside of the mask.
Halloween… we make weird stuff… but a favorite is the kitty litter box cake. It’s amazing what tootsie rolls can look like if you place in the microwave for a couple of seconds. When your guests see the kitty litter box on the floor with all those weird little tootsies…and other little nuggets… I just love to watch their reaction.
Happy Halloweenie!

Gosh, I love Halloween for so many reasons. I love how the air is alive and magic is all around us. And the permission to indulge all this chocolate candy.

Halloween is a mixed bag for me — i love most parts of it, but i doubt it will ever be my fave holiday…my fondest memory of halloween was being a “generic human” one year — my costume even made it into the newspaper!

Many students would rather order their academic assignments than do them themselves, but many of them have hesitation about which writing company is better to choose.

Many a time, as a medical student, I come across myself bombarded with tasks and projects. The experts made life easier by providing help with nursing papers, which I am very grateful for. Accessing nursing paper testimonials like the getrade of this link https://www.nursingpaper.com/testimonials/ proved anything to me, but my sureness in their competency and consistency burgeoned. Painfully, for most of the students, they were able to express from their hearts about these professionals who had assisted them in getting better grades and having a better understanding of the topics. If you’re deeply troubled by your nursing assignments, I urge you to go through these successful stories to get ideas of how others have improved in them.
