Here is another recipe from Gibbs Smith‘s Little Monsters Cookbook. Kids are going to love this! Get some lemon and lime pop and add some food colouring to it and ice. Fill up the glass until it is about an inch from the rim. Then… add Pop Rocks!

My husband got all geared up to try this experiment for me, what a sweetheart! I had to rush him along a little because the video was getting too long. And yes, I did tell him he was going to have to drink the drink!
I would tell you what happened but I prefer to let the video share the end results. Thank you so much to my husband for indulging me in my fun foodie ideas and going along with it like a pro.
Thank you Reg you brave soul for volunteering for this important experiment. Glad to see you enjoyed the brew, all fizzy and crackling. If we lived closer I would totally lend my kids to you for such occasions, I know they would just love to try this.
Your husband has a good sense of fun to do this experiment. I love the fact he is all dressed up in a hazmat outfit just in case.
