It is amazing to me that my husband and I are celebrating ten wonderful years of marriage today. We have been through a lot since we ate that rosemary chicken dinner with an edible flower salad on the side, all those years ago. I remember when I saw the cake for the first time how puzzled I was, it was supposed to be in the shape of hearts but at least they got the colours right. Life is like that, you just got to roll with it. Yes, it is a small cake but we had a very private little wedding that I do not regret for one second. We got to hang out with everyone that night and connect with them before we moved to British Columbia. You can read more about that here.
When I was that woman ten years ago I could not bake a pie. I could barely cook dinner. Since then the world of food really entered my life as a new fantastic adventure. How shocking is it that I am not bored yet? This is an important anniversary for me, my husband is home, we are together and we are going to make the most of it. If I disappear for a while, just know that exciting foodie stories are to come.
