Yesterday Reg and I went to Summersonic 2012. It was an all-day fest of punk music.
We planted ourselves on the hill, had cushions and rain gear (thank goodness for rain ponchos!). It rained on us quite a bit. That combined with my fibromyalgia…
Let’s just say it was the ultimate test in endurance for me.
The $8.50 perogies were way over-priced but delicious. They tasted extra delicious and comforting as we ate in the rain.
Also, I will never order onion rings again at a festival, takes too damn long.
Somehow I lasted through the day and made it to see Rise Against raise bloody hell on the stage and knock us over with their talent.
But I’m done. I’m in a ton of pain today. I will be posting more about the festival eventually on my online scrapbook but I must rest. It was worth it but OMG, I’m slammed.
Need some time before I can focus on food again but I will get there.
