It is happening again! LAY’s Do Us a Flavour Contest is on, foodies, and check out my video of the BIG reveal. I am excited about some, confused about others and one actually really FREAKS me out.
Canadians are still coming up with flavour ideas and this time they received 950,000 flavour submissions. The four finalists’ chip flavours each represent a different Canadian region including Western Canada, Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada.
I personally wanted Lobster Thermidore to represent the East Coast and must admit, I think my idea is better than the one they chose. Yup, fighting words, I know.
I have the opportunity to interview the contestants to let me know if you have any questions you want me to ask and do not worry—I will be asking the west coast contestant… “What on earth were you thinking???!!!”
My son and I tried the butter chicken flavour and we really enjoyed them. The cowboy baked beans flavour was underwhelming – just tasted like bbq sauce!
