Kitchen Treasures At The Leslieville Flea Market

Kitchen Treasures At Leslieville Flea Market

Wow, do I love a good flea market! We had the perfect weather when we went to the Leslieville Flea Market at Ashbridge Estates.

The grounds are so gorgeous! Nothing like shopping for treasures amidst willow and chestnut trees.

She Sells Sanctuary sells fair trade Himalayan Handicrafts for excellent prices. My friend Dawn got the cutest unicorn!

I focused on the crystals, but there were many different artisans there. You can see what I bought here .

Kitchen Fun

I really wanted that mixing bowl set so very badly but it was outside my budget. Check out that Corningware coffee pot! Did you know that Corningware is coming back?

Even though there were a lot of people selling new items you could still find some serious foodie nostalgic treasures.

Isn’t this mug set adorable? I mean seriously, so sweet and retro.

I wish I had that bust of The King so that I could use him to show off my jewelry!

Everything was fun and games until I got to this table. Then, I really wanted everything!

Like this vintage breadbox, tea, coffee, sugar set… OMG!

I have a sad childhood foodie story about the Snoopy Snow Cone Maker. One day…

Hamilton Beach’s Drink Master with the original box?! Holy crap!

My Treasures

It may seem silly but what I bought were these old patina copper utensils. I got all four for $15 which was a steal.

Even if I restored them I would not use them for food because copper can impact flavour.

So why did I buy them?

Because they spoke to me.

I have them hanging up in my bedroom to remind me how much I love to cook and bake and how much I want to learn the old school way of making food once I get my strength back and my finances improve.

Summer Coming To A Close

Kitchen Treasures At Leslieville Flea Market

My summer started the beginning of August when I could start walking and getting out again. I am so excited that I got out to the Leslieville Flea Market while I could. The artistic vendors are so talented and overall, everyone was super friendly. The venue was gorgeous and I could have spent all day there checking everything out. I made good solid purchases that will help keep me inspired and motivated while my life hopefully finds its new normal.

I think Wonder Woman is inspiring me to keep going! She always does.
