I love this foodie mural someone did in Sunnyside Mall in Bedford, Nova Scotia, so charming
Our New Year’s did not start out super great. I have been in recovery mode since but on Monday, I hope to get back to my foodie routine and make life healthier and taste better.
If I had a “foodie resolution” for the year it is to work more with the foods I have and not go out to spend money on specialty items. Thankfully I have a full pantry when it comes to herbs and spices so anything goes there but beyond that… I hope to keep it more down to earth and economical.
I am looking forward to things getting better in 2012 and just hope they don’t get worse.
See you on Monday!

I hear you on this one. Feeding a family of five with 2 teenaged boys is making for some hefty grocery bills these days. We’re keeping it simple, hearty, and nutritious. Off today to get BOGO free beef short ribs for braising today, with that deal I may even get extras to freeze. Have a fabulous weekend and hope you are feeling much better soon.
