Here you have a metal tin containing PC 54% Cashews Deluxe Mixed Nuts Cashews, Almonds and Pecans.
In the unboxing video I mention how everyone loves nuts (unless they are allergic) during the holidays. Turns out that might not be entirely true…
The tin is quite adorable, 6″ square with semi-transparent pine branches and pinecones on it.
Inside is the bag of nuts but…
Also a plastic liner that makes it seem as if there are more nuts in the box than it appears.
It creates a nicer presentation but feels a bit like you are trying to pass off that there are more nuts in there than there are. You know how I feel about false advertising… It probably helps protect the nuts though.
I brought them to my last art class and I do not think anyone tried them but me. I was surprised at how under-seasoned they were too and was overall, not super-impressed. Without the paper version of the Insiders Report with the prices, I am having a hard time figuring out what kind of rating to give this product. If it is $5, OK, then it is a pretty good deal. It if is $10, nope, not a good deal.
I appreciate that President’s Choice has gone paperless with their Insiders Report but I wish there was a printer-friendly version I could work with. As it stands, you have to choose either brunch, gift, dinner or mingle to be able to see the products. I found this one in the gift section.
The presentation is gorgeous but there was no price listed and no real way for me to print anything out so I could remember to take it with me.
So I leave it up to you to decide while you are shopping at your store if it is a deal, since you can see the prices and I can’t from my writing desk.

I bough a tin for $4.44 today and thought it was a good deal. Have not opened the tin yet, but I will find a good use for it when it is empty.
