It IS the most wonderful time of year! My favourite day? When I get to see all the goodies President’s Choice is offering for holiday treats.
After having such an amazing time at the PC Holiday Hosting Event I got to open a basket with so many goodies! Watch the unboxing video here.
My product up to review was PC Kettle Cooked Applewood Smoked Bacon Flavour Potato Chips. With hosting D&D at our place, this product was a no-brainer to share and taste test.
Fellow player Arnold said, “Nice crunch texture, more like Miss Vickie’s than Lays chip, which I really like. The flavour was good, not too strong, but certainly not my favourite flavour I’ve ever tried.”
I have to agree whole-heartedly. The scent and flavour were quite good and the crunch was there but I must admit I did not find a lot that was particularly unique about these chips. Basically, if you like the flavour of bacon, you will probably like these.
One thing to note is these chips are made with natural flavours so sharing with a vegetarian is a no-no! I did not realize we had a vegetarian in our D&D mix so that would have been very bad. Sorry Phil!
My most favourite chips in the world are sour cream and bacon so to me, these are good but do not compare with that old classic I fell in love with on Easter when I was in public school. My mom used to put together Easter treats and goodies and I can rarely remember falling in love with a flavour combination more.
Smoky, tasty, crunchy and bacony… I give these four out of five wooden spoons.

That was so much fun Suzie. What a wonderful basket. We have tried the malt vinegar version of the chips as well as the cracked pepper version. We liked both of them, but the flavours were very mild. Loved the crunch though! I need to buy a few things from your basket!
