PC Maple & Bacon Popcorn AKA Foodie Crack

PC Maple & Bacon Popcorn AKA Foodie Crack

I received a bag of President’s Choice Maple & Bacon Popcorn with my holiday goodies from the PC party I went to last week.

The Product

PC Maple & Bacon Popcorn AKA Foodie Crack

“Combining two of Canada’s favourite tastes, maple and bacon. An irresistible combination of crunchy popcorn with maple syrup-flavour coating commingling with smoky bacon flavoured popcorn. It’s an incredible snack mix of two air-popped popcorns brought together as one savoury-sweet treat sensation.“

The Taste Test

PC Maple & Bacon Popcorn AKA Foodie Crack

Wow! They were not kidding. The maple and bacon combination is pure genius. The sweet with the smoky savouriness is out of this world. I found that about 2/3 of the kernels are bacon-y and 1/3 are maple-y. As a result you have this salty pork goodness with a sweet Canadian jab with every handful.

Foodie Conclusion

PC Maple & Bacon Popcorn AKA Foodie Crack

This is Suzie the Foodie crack! I mean it. I can not stop eating it. We are getting freakish snowstorms right now and I am trying not to mow through the whole bag all by myself. Reg had some last night and even he liked it and he is not a fan of anything that tastes like pork! Considering there are no artificial flavours, this is probably not a vegetarian product. If you are vegetarian, you should probably miss out. You poor souls.

Me? I say bring it! I know a lot of their holidays products disappear in the new year so I am personally going to stock up on President’s Choice Maple & Bacon Popcorn. It is so good I give this product an eleven out of five wooden spoons. (Spinal Tap reference people!)

I want more!!! Give me my foodie crack!!!
