Well that is true. I had never never heard of Ras El Hanout before. Apparently it is supposed to be a top notch but not specific spice mix from North Africa.
Then you have white chocolate and cardamom…
Maldon Sea Salt & Lime made with Persian lime oil and a sprinkling of Kaffir lime leaf powder. Then dark chocolate infused with Ancho chili powder in a dark chocolate shell.
I brought the little box with me to D&D to get other people’s opinions too since I knew I was not the most open-minded person when it comes to spiced chocolate.
Product testing things gave me a stomach ache. Way too many spices mixed together. Still, they were… interesting and did deliver on their exotic foodie promise. That said, most people had one and did not want another.
Reg loved all of them by the way! He DMd a fantastic Christmas adventure that had us singing and saving XMAS together over these spiced chocolates.
This is not my personal box of chocolates but I know there are a lot of foodies out there who will love the flavour adventure. For them, I give this four out of five wooden spoons. Everyone else? Pass.

I like some spiced chocolates and not others. But even with the ones I like, I can’t eat a lot of them at one time. Maybe that’s a good thing?
