OK I will admit it. I am a bit of a Scrooge. It is true, my dirty little secret. For the first time in years, I might actually be feeling the holiday spirit stirring inside my heart, thanks to President’s Choice!
Yesterday there was a knock on my door and a delivery guy with the hugest box in the world, just for me! I don’t know how I got it upstairs, I am grateful it was not too heavy or I would have had to open it in my foyer. It was filled with foodie presents with dates on them, telling me when I can open them! Could anything be more exciting? I also kept smelling a Christmas tree. Turns out there was a holiday wreath inside!
The first date I was allowed to open anything was November 17th, today! Loving the anticipation and not wanting to ruin the surprise, I waited until today to open them both! It wasn’t easy I tell you. I was writing all about it on my Foodie Facebook Page and we all got so curious but I was determined to wait until today!
My first holiday treat is a container of PC The World’s Best Jumbo Cashews! They come from Northeastern Brazil and taste amazing! They truly are huge and most of the cashews are still in one piece:
I love it, not a ton of broken bits everywhere, truly high quality. The package says lightly salted and I concur that it is an accurate description (unlike another reviewer). I have bought nuts that are way saltier than these! My only complaint is I had the hardest time removing the cap. The cap just would not come off. My hands are very small and weak but seriously, the cap would turn but not snap off. I had to put a knife under the plastic band and break it. Keep in mind, I am very accident prone and have weak hands.
If you are going to have a fancy pants holiday party and want the most elegant snack food around, this is your product. Not only that, I am going to put these in my next stir fry, if they make it that long. I can not stop eating them!
I give this product five out of five wooden spoons (maybe the cap issue was a fluke) and I can not wait to find out what product I am to open next!
