Product Review: Lay's Do Us A Flavour Wavy Jalapeño Mac & Cheese Chips

The next contender for Lay’s Do Us A Flavour Contest is Randall Litman’s Wavy Jalapeño Mac & Cheese Chips. I gather the mac & cheese element was represented by the ridges which is quite clever plus, of course, the cheesiness.

The Product

Considering there are dehydrated jalapeños in the list of ingredients, I thought they would be spicier. The good news is if you want a tiny kick, you might like these. I personally barely noticed the heat and remember, I am a spice wimp.

Foodie Conclusion

Product Review: Lay's Do Us A Flavour Wavy Jalapeño Mac & Cheese Chips

I think Lay’s did a very good job creating the chip that Randall came up with. Although they did not have a lot of heat, they did have great cheesy flavour. I liked them but Reg LOVED them! He ended up taking the bag and finishing them off in no time. The texture of the chips was great, I enjoyed their waviness and appreciated that they had lots of flavour.

I give this product four out of five wooden spoons.

Was in USA over weekend and tried theirs … Wasabi/Ginger, Cappucino, Bacon Mac/Chz and Mango Salsa.
Bacon one was only edible one in the group.

Like these … but Cinnamon Bun is evil.

Those are pretty cool chip ideas, too bad only the bacon worked. I personally loved the cinnamon bun ones, is that what you meant by evil?

Thanks for the review, I have seen these in the stores but have yet to try any of them. I do not like hot and spicy foods.
