T&T has officially come to the east coast Superstores! A great way to ring in Chinese New Year and I received a box of goodies to try out. Yes, my roasted butternut squash soup is not exactly an Asian-inspired dish but I have been taste-testing T&T’s Saltine Crackers.
The Product
Unfortunately I do not have prices for the products so I am focusing solely on taste and presentation for my T&T reviews. The box arrived kind of beaten up to my house, I am sure it will look much better at the stores.
I am a little conflicted by the packaging. Small stacks of crackers are individually packaged which is great for freshness but not great for the environment.
I will say that stale crackers suck and knowing this will not happen to these ones makes me want to turn to them first over others. Still, I wish I did not have to throw out so much garbage to do so.
Flavour-wise, these taste just like other saltine crackers, perhaps a little less salty than others but still well seasoned. Reg and I loved them on our soup and I had some on their own and they were perfectly adequate. Nothing necessarily special about them but exactly what you look for in a saltine cracker.
I give this product four out of five wooden spoons.
