I was so moved by all the love and encouragement you sent my way about my blog’s birthday. I have been thinking about all that was said and gathering energy and inspiration together to come up with even more new ideas, places to go I think you would like to see and recipes you would like to taste.
My life is more than a little upside down right now so consider my video for making puff pastry from scratch symbolic of my life.
The coolest thing about going through the process of making my own puff pastry is that now when life comes up with a new Herculean challenge for me I just say, I made puff pastry damn it. I can do anything!a

Thanky you so much Debra and I know, isn’t that crazy how much butter is in it? It is crazy! BTW, strawberry Nutella turnovers were created with the puff pastry and they were unfreakin’ believably good damn it! Post to come!
