I was going to write about food today but I just can’t. This is a hard day for me. We were once a part of something we really believed in and on this day my heart goes out to the fallen. And yet we are outside of it all now which hurts my heart too. This is just not a foodie day for me. I will be back.
I just finished watching the Ottawa ceremonies too. When I saw the Navy servicemen marching, I thought of Reg as well. Onwards and upwards now, you two.

My dad lost both of his brothers. His parents lost 2/3 of their children. EVERY FRICKING DAY IS REMEMBRANCE DAY IN THIS HOUSEHOLD.
Am so sorry what happened to Reg happened. Maybe somewhere there is a silver lining to that cloud….you are back where you belong with many new challenges but I am determined to think that it will all work out in the end. (((((((hugs)))))))))))
Oh Janet, that’s brutal, I am so sorry. And thanks for the support. I guess we just have a different path to go down now and hope that it works out for me and Reg. We certainly are happy to be back home!
