Simply Orange with Coconut Water

Simply Orange with Coconut Water

Simply Orange has come out with a “new product” by adding coconut water to their fresh orange juice.

They sent me some coupons to try the product, as well as some fun brunch-making tools for me to try!

My own monogrammed serving platter and knife!

They included adorable bow tie glass charms for making my own mimosa bar but I noticed there was no coupon for champagne, LOL. We do not really drink in our house but I will put these to crafty use!

They sent silicon muffin liners which were so awesome! I made some Quaker Honey Oat Bran Muffins with them.

I would have made muffins from scratch but so far I have yet to find a recipe for muffins I like as much as these ones.

It was a little nerve-wracking working with the egg shapers, as I had never used them before. I asked for some advice on Facebook and HardlyBored wrote, “oil them! even if they are non stick.”

So that is exactly what I did! I also liberally buttered my non-stick pan. I had to use a small spatula to release the eggs but it worked!

Resulting in an awesome bagel and egg sandwich for brunch.

But let’s get to the Simply Orange! Because of the addition of the coconut water, there is only 80 calories per serving.

Simply Orange with Coconut Water

This had to be the best store-bought fresh orange juice I have ever had! I could not taste the coconut water and the juice tasted so fresh and light. I can sometimes get a sore throat from orange juice but not this one. Smoooooth!!! Reg was shocked he didn’t get all phlegmy like he does with regular orange juice.

We LOVED it! If it happens to have less calories and hydrate us more because of the coconut water, so be it. We adore it and will probably buy it for weekend brunches from now on. It takes a very impressive product to make Reg and I change our shopping habits because we love something new so much.

This product receives five out of five wooden spoons. All the fun gizmos and presents aside, honestly, if you like freshly squeezed orange juice you have to try this. Low calorie and effort with maximum flavour. Perfection!

It’s true! I was spoiled but I promise that did not impact the review, LOL. I know, those silicon muffins cups rock!

I’m going to try the juice for sure. I find orange juice too thick on it’s own. I’d love the muffin cups too and wonder if they are on sale to the public yet?

Jenny, this orange juice was definitely not too thick. You can purchase the cups on amazon: http://amzn.to/1J4qHIV

I want those silicone muffin cups and the egg shapers. Does the orange juice taste like coconut?

Aren’t they amazing?! And no, no coconut flavour at all. Not even a little! Just wonderful orange juice that wasn’t too thick. Loved it.
