Lucky me! I was sent a coupon for So Nice For Coffee and have been enjoying testing this product immensely. When I was living dairy-free, So Nice was by far my favourite soy milk. If you use soy, you know how tough it is to find any kind of creamer that does not fall apart in your tea or coffee so I was more than just a little intrigued by this product.
So Nice for Coffee is a 2010 finalist in the Canadian Grand Prix New Product Awards and has just recently hit stores throughout Canada. I found mine in the health food section of my store where you find containers of soy and almond milk.
Now there was still an issue when it comes to “debris” which, for those who are queasy about such matters, is a bit of a turnoff. For those who are used to soy and know that this is just a part of the soy experience, it is no big deal.
The “cream” is made with organic non-GMO soy beans and contains no palm oil. It has a lovely almost vanilla-milk colour to it and is quite impressively opaque and creamy in appearance.
The taste? Absolutely delicious! It really does taste like coffee creamer and I can see why it is a finalist. If you had told me this was real cream, I would have believed it. What a relief for those who miss dairy!
Now this may sound weird but I also tried it in tea. For tea drinkers missing a little milk in their black tea, this was quite good too. Yes, it does taste more like cream than milk but if you like a pale tea, this is quite the treat.
I am thoroughly impressed with this product. A great price for a high quality food product that has no artificial colours or flavours, is cholesterol free and contains zero saturated fat. I loved it so much I might just have to keep buying it. I may have to do more experimenting with this one! I give this product four and a half out of five wooden spoons.
I have four coupons to give away and they are valid all across Canada! To enter, tell my why this would be a good product in your kitchen. Are you a fan of So Nice too? Are you living dairy-free? Make sure to include your email address! Winners will be announced Friday.

I’m so excited about the SoNice for Coffee; it’s already converted a friend from 14 years of black coffee to using SoNice. 🙂
Another friend suggested using it for the inside of vegan creamsicles and I was thinking it would be perfect as an element of vegan fudgesicles.

Oh yes! Hot chocolate, what a great idea. Vegan creamsicles, I love it! I was wondering about cooking with it too? A nice low fat alternative to making something creamy that doesn’t separate.
Thanks for commenting! Good luck everyone! Hope the postal strike doesn’t last long so I can get these out to the winners next week, LOL.

Ooo, I’d love to try this! Milk and cream don’t agree with me anymore, and while I use regular soy and almond milk now, they’re not quite the same in my coffee. This would be great to try out!

Although I can’t drink soy, my daughter would love it. And she’s an avid coffee drinker. Thanks.

I am faithful to soy. My son is severely allergic to milk so when he was 9 months old I made the switch myself to soy. I have grown to love the taste, but yes it doesn’t hold up well in coffee and other hot drinks. I would love to try this out! I haven’t had a chance to pick it up yet. Great review btw!
