Foodie Frannie! OMG! My dear friend Fran from Vancouver Island won all the Wilton loot. I am so happy for you Fran! You are and the kids are going to have so much fun. I’m thrilled!
I think part of this is karma. Fran left the most awesome comment on the video page because I had a reference at the end of the video about my post “Why Suzie the Foodie Hates Cake“. Fran wrote:
Happy birthday Suzie. BTW I remember you going through that cake class that you mentioned in your blog as to why you hate cake. We were just getting to know each other at that time. I remember you telling us (at the Women’s Circle) about how that woman treated you. I was so furious I wanted to come to the class and give her a piece of my mind. She was so wrong in so many ways! You will not be alone as she said. You will be surrounded by people who love you and there always will be many of us!
This almost brought me to tears. It really is an old wound of mine and having Fran want to stand up for me as a friend like that means the world to me. As someone who has bullied for a lot of my life, no words could be more healing. Fran, I adore you!
