I realize now that it was completely ridiculous for me to think that I could blog and travel at the same time. This has been the craziest trip I have ever had so I am calling it the Suzie the Foodie Tour. I am currently sitting in bed in the Thousand Islands up way too late with a trip to get back to Toronto tomorrow but I had to write and let you know, I am alive.
BTW, did you know there is such a thing as walk-up-take-out windows at Tim Horton’s? Well there is in Toronto! My friend Polly treated me to an Iced Capp which I thoroughly enjoyed on an unexpectedly crazy-hot day hanging out with super-awesome peeps.
OK foodies. I gotta log off but I wanted to write and let you know that I have had tons of foodie fun and adventures which I will share when I get home which will happen eventually. Before then I am braving my high school reunion, perhaps one of the scariest social event I could ever go to when it comes to braving my psychological welfare.
But hey, if the night tanks I’ll just say, “I’m Suzie the Foodie. Who the hell are you?”

Hey Suzie – keep having fun and we’ll catch ya’ when you get back home. Also, all the Timmy’s near me have walk-up and/or drive through windows. Sadly, their hot chocolates all suck. Taste of water, here.
Saw your garden tour with your sister, Jamie. Looks like you are having great fun on your trip. Don’t worry about the reunion. I went to my 40th(!) high school reunion two years ago and had a blast. Most of the people who had intimidated me in high school, I found out, were really just as scared and insecure as I was! We are all getting together this October for a huge picnic as our class collectively turns 60 this year. Be sure to let us know how it goes!
So glad you went on the garden tour with us Janet! Wow, that’s quite a milestone and I am glad you had a great time. I did too, it was fantastic. Hope your get together in October is also fabulous!
